Coleus, Solenostemon scutellarioides (L.)Codd is a suitable host ofthe mealybugs. Mealybug destroyer, Cryptolaemus montrouzieri Mulsant (Coleoptera:Coccinellidae) is a polyphagous predatory coccinellid, employed in biological controlprograms against citrusmealy bug. The present work was carried out to study the efficacy ofthis predator (biological control agent of citrus mealy bug) on coleus (red variety) and todetermine the most suitable releasing rate of the predatory coccinelid under greenhouseconditions. The same-aged coleus plants were infected by 2nd and 3rd in stars of the mealy bugnymphs. Following the pest establishment, mealy bug destroyers were released on plants at therates 1, 2, 3 and 4 coccinelid/ plant as four treatments along with a non-treated plant used ascheck. Any of the treatments was replicated 4 times. Efficacy in each treatment was determinedthrough Handerson-Tilton method within the period of one to 15 days after releasing thepredator. ANOVA revealed statistically significant differences within treatments. Thetreatments bearing 2, 3, and 4 coccinellids / plant exerted the highest effect in biologicalcontrol of the mealy bug and were statistically placed in one group. On the 15th day followingthe release of the predator, there was no statistically significant difference observed betweenthe treatments of 3, vs 4 coccinellid/ plant. Based on the achieved results, releasing 2coccinelid/ coleus plant in greenhouse conditions can provide more than 92% efficacy inbiological control of the mealy bugs.}, keywords = {biological control,Cryptolaemus montrouzieri,efficacy,Greenhouse,Planococcus citri}, title_fa = {بررسی کارایی کفشدوزک Cryptolaemus montrouzieri در کنترل بیولوژیک شپشک آردآلود Planococcus citri روی گیاه حسن‌یوسف در شرایط گلخانه‌ای}, abstract_fa = {شپشک آردآلود Planococcus citri(Risso) (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) یکی از رایج‌ترین آفاتی است که روی گیاهان زینتی دیده می‌شود. یکی از مهم‌ترین گیاهان زینتی مستعد آلودگی به این آفت، حسن‌یوسف Solenostemon scutellarioides (L.)Codd است. کفشدوزک کریپتولموس Cryptolaemus montrouzieriMulsant (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae)  یک شکارگر چندخوار است که برای کنترل شپشک‌های آردآلود استفاده می‌شود. پژوهش حاضر به منظور بررسی کارایی این کفشدوزک در کنترل بیولوژیک شپشک آردآلود P. citri روی گیاه زینتی حسن‌یوسف (واریتۀ قرمز) و تعیین بهترین نسبت رهاسازی آن در شرایط گلخانه‌ای انجام گرفت. ابتدا بوته‌های هم‌سن گیاه حسن‌یوسف به‌صورت دستی با پوره‌های سنین 2 و 3 شپشک آردآلود آلوده شدند. پس از تثبیت کلونی شپشک آردآلود روی بوته‌ها، رهاسازی کفشدوزک روی بوته‌ها در قالب 4 تیمار کنترل بیولوژیک رهاسازی 1، 2، 3 و 4 کفشدوزک بالغ به ازای هر بوتۀ حسن‌یوسف هم‌سن انجام گرفت. یک تیمار هم بدون رهاسازی کفشدوزک به عنوان شاهد در نظر گرفته شد. درصد تأثیر هر تیمار در کنترل جمعیت شپشک‌های آردآلود با استفاده از فرمول هندرسون - تیلتون در فاصلۀ زمانی یک تا 15 روز بعد از رهاسازی محاسبه شد. پس از تجزیۀ واریانس و مقایسۀ درصد تأثیر تیمارهای مورد ارزیابی در کنترل آفت، مشخص شد تیمارهای رهاسازی 2، 3 و4 کفشدوزک به ازای هر بوته در فاصلۀ زمانی ۱۰ - ۵ روز بعد از رهاسازی کفشدوزک از نظر آماری بیشترین تأثیر داشتند و در یک گروه قرار داشتند. در روز پانزدهم نیز بین رهاسازی 3 و 4 کفشدوزک اختلاف معناداری نبود. در کل مشخص شد رهاسازی 2 کفشدوزک به ازای هر بوتۀ حسن‌یوسف می‌تواند بیش از 92 درصد از جمعیت آفت را تا 15 روز بعد کنترل کند.}, keywords_fa = {: شپشک آردآلود,کارایی,کفشدوزک کریپتولموس,کنترل بیولوژیک,گلخانه}, url = {https://ijpps.ut.ac.ir/article_36676.html}, eprint = {https://ijpps.ut.ac.ir/article_36676_e8d0f15f3e07ba14f1ce0320fdafab2d.pdf} }
